Crew Housing in Fort Lauderdale: Common Questions

Where are your crew houses?
In Fort Lauderdale, a few minutes from Lauderdale Marine Center and the Marina Mile yards.
Who stays with you?
Yacht crew between boats or in the yard, yard workers and contractors, and maritime students.
Can I rent just one bed?
Yes. You can rent a single bed, an entire unit for yourself or your team, or the whole house.
Is there a minimum stay?
No. There's no minimum or maximum stay. We bill by the week, so the shortest charge is one week.
Do you have housing for women only?
Yes. Unit 1 at Even Keel and Unit 3 at The Gulch are women-only units.
What's included?
Every house has fully furnished layouts, high-speed wi-fi for remote work, full kitchen and cookware, washer and dryer in unit, secure entry and parking, private or shared bedrooms and crew-friendly bedding setups.
How much does it cost?
Rates depend on the house and the bed. Call, text or WhatsApp us and we'll go through what's available and the weekly rate.
Do you run credit checks?
No.
How do I pay?
We take cash, Zelle and card. We'll never ask you to pay anyone other than Vitamin Sea.
What if I leave part-way through a week?
A week you've paid for isn't refunded. To avoid being charged for the next week, tell us before your renewal day. Your renewal day is the same day each week, counted from the day you arrived.
