This page explains what information the Vitamin Sea Crew Housing website (mycrewhouse.com) collects, why, and what we do with it.

Booking requests

When you send a booking request, the form collects your name, email address, phone number, the date you would like to arrive, the house you are interested in and any notes you add. We use this only to reply to your request, usually by phone.

The request is sent to us as an email at info@mycrewhouse.com. The website itself does not keep a copy in a database. The email is delivered by Amazon Web Services, which hosts this website.

If you book and stay with us

If your booking goes ahead, we keep your name, email address, phone number, the house and bed you're staying in, and your arrival and departure dates for the length of your stay and for a period after. We use this to send you a reminder before your weekly renewal, your arrival details (address, door code, wifi), and a request for a review after you leave. These aren't marketing, but each one includes a way to stop receiving further messages, and we honor that.

This information is stored on our own systems, hosted by Amazon Web Services.

Keeping in touch

The booking form has an optional checkbox asking whether we may email you occasionally about availability and offers. It is never ticked for you. If you tick it, we keep your name and email address so we can send those emails — no more than once a month — and every one of them has an unsubscribe link. If you leave it unticked, we only use your details to answer your request.

To be taken off the list at any time, use the unsubscribe link or email info@mycrewhouse.com.

Calls, texts and WhatsApp

If you call, text or WhatsApp us first, that conversation goes through your phone carrier or WhatsApp, not through this website.

If you're a current guest, we may also message you — a reminder before your weekly renewal, your arrival details, or checking in to see if everything's working. These are sent by our own system, not typed in the moment, and only to guests who agreed to them when they booked. Reply STOP at any time to stop them.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the website is used: which pages are visited, whether someone taps to call, text or WhatsApp, and whether a booking request was sent. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your device, browser and approximate location. We never send your name, email address or phone number to Google.

You can block these cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Google Analytics opt-out add-on. We don't currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals, and no company we use tracks you across other websites.

Who sees your information

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
